PASCAL MAAS

Pascal Maas studierte Architektur an der MSA | Münster School of Architecture und arbeitete dort als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Department Entwerfen für Professor Julia Bolles-Wilson (2007-2008) und für Professor Alexander Schwarz (2009-2011). 2008 war Pascal für Coop Himmelb(l)au in Wien tätig. Er gewann zahlreiche Preise für seine Arbeiten, bevor er 2011 seinen Masterabschluss mit Auszeichnung erhielt.

Pascal ist seit 2003 für das Büro MAAS & PARTNER Architekten tätig. Nachdem er sieben Jahre für das Berliner Büro von David Chipperfield Architects in nationalen und internationalen Projekten arbeitete, kehrte er 2018 als Partner zurück. Als Partner ist Pascal für den Entwurf und die Identität von Wettbewerben, städtebaulichen Entwicklungen, für Projekte im Büro- und Wohnungsbau, sowie für die Außendarstellung des Büros verantwortlich. Neben seiner Tätigkeit bei MAAS & PARTNER unterrichtet Pascal als Gastdozent an der MSA | Münster School of Architecture, wo er seine architektonische Praxis mit der theoretischen Lehre verbindet.

Pascal Maas studied architecture at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster, where he was appointed as assistant tutor for the department of design, Professor Julia Bolles-Wilson (2007-2008) and for Alexander Schwarz (2009-2011). In 2008 Pascal he worked at the practice for Coop Himmelb(l)au in Vienna. Before graduating with Distinction, he won several prizes for both, national and international projects.

Pascal joined MAAS & PARTNER Architects as a student in 2003. After seven years of working for David Chipperfield Architects Berlin, he returned to the office in 2018 and became a Partner. As partner, he is responsible for the design and concept development of numerous competitions and projects for residential and office buildings as well as urban planning and public relations. Beyond his role at MAAS & PARTNER, Pascal has academic commitments, combining the practice of architecture and research with teaching.
